The Web Site Assessor for Ultimate Presence is an automatic tool that retrieves, analyses and scrores websites. The tool was created at first for promotional uses but turned out to be a very powerful aid in creating a UK Disability Discrimination Act compliant websites.
The Tool rates sites based on the following criteria:
- The power and response of the server on which it resides.
- The syntaxual correctness of the HTML and CSS.
- The semantical correctness of the HTML and CSS.
- Usage of JavaScript and Flash.
- Appropriate use of content, images and links.
- Keywords Analysis and Search Engine position.
The Web Site Assessor is an example of how verstile the PHP language is, the code runs both via command line and via web server, allowing users to start the system processing a site and come back later once it has completed.

PRINET is an integrated electronic performance support system designed for Primary schools.
It allows Teachers to increase communication with their students via notice boards, easily publish files and recieve electronic homework and create lists of useful websites. PRINET uses context sensitive help to aid the user in their tasks.
For all users it offers a simple messaging system, remote documents access and a user directory.
This is achieved in a simple to install, usable, accessible and secure way. PRINET uses a group+user administration method similar to that found in most operating systems. Each component of PRINET is configurable on a per group basis that allows flexible functionality restrictions that are quick to configure.
PRINET supports a simple skinning system that allows individual schools to highly customise both the colour scheme, icons and layout of the system. This is available on a per group or user basis to allow different skins for each year, tutor group or student.
